Acidic Fitness are proud to announce that an agreement has been reached with Saracens and England rugby athlete May-Alexandra Campbell to become a member of the Acidic Fitness Athletes roster. This acquisition is vital in the early stages of the athletes programme being formed as hopefully it shows the intent for how the company want the roster to be perceived to the general public. It also confirms #TheNewShift that the company are trying to achieve by focusing on a variety of performance sports such as rugby. With Campbell's experience in the sport hopefully with the acquisition she can continue to inspire more young women into rugby and also inspire a generation of student-athletes in general as she is currently into her second year studying a joint honours in Sport, Health & Exercise Sciences and Business Studies at Brunel University in Uxbridge.
"I am super stoked that I have managed to get May to agree to be a part of this brand new roster", said Managing Director Miles Sita, who has been orchestrating the shortlisting process all summer. "As this is a brand new venture and nothing has been done yet she could have easily opted out but I am pleased that after speaking to her and outlining my plans for the future that she is super down for the cause, I can't wait to start this working relationship with her".
May joins a talented roster which includes British #2 bikini athlete Sophie Wheeldon-Jones, Musclemania athlete Kevin Kombi, and American footballer/powerlifter Jonas Stankevicius. More announcements regarding athletes will be made in the near future.
