In August, there will be an inaugural Women's Adidas Tango League. The Tango League itself is a tournament held by Adidas in a number of global key cities such as Berlin, Sao Paolo, Paris, Shanghai and Los Angeles pitting the best street footballers in their respective cities against each other. In the past year these cities have held women-exclusive versions of the events with teams such as Future 030 (Berlin) and Red Girlz (Toronto) emerging as champions.

With PH1 FC already making creating waves in the women's game with the introduction of a strong female roster for the 2019/20 season, they will be looking to cement themselves as the team to beat in their first actual test as a collective.

"The fact that an all-female Tango is a reality is great news. It was all good creating statements in March but now in order to propel PH1 into the next level we need to go out there and clinch gold". - Miles Sita, PH1 FC Brand Manager

The inaugural tournament will see 3 other invited women's teams from London face-off concurrently with the mens final on Thursday 22nd August at the Adidas Community Pitch in Vauxhall.

The PH1 FC squad announcement for the Tango League will be made shortly. Keep an eye out for the official Instagram account for details.
